About Jason Serfling

Jason SerflingJason Serfling was born in Yuba City, California, November 18, 1980. Jason began his musical venture at a very young age; Jason’s mother would play piano music through headphones while pregnant. Jason began putting chords together at the age of 2 on the handmade upright his mother bought at a garage sale. By the age of five, Jason began playing Beethoven and Mozart by ear. By the age of 10, Jason was composing his own solo piano pieces. This would later lead to his first recording, recorded at Swing Street Studios, Sacramento, California.

At the age of 13, Jason went door-to-door selling his first album. By the age of 17, Jason had released Decembers Rain, through Emerald Entertainment, this was his 4th album. By 19, Jason had established himself as a driving force in the Northern California community of Fort Bragg and Mendocino with over 500 solo concerts nationwide under his belt, and 7 albums released.

By 21, Jason had moved to Switzerland where he began studying at the Conservatory of Lausanne. This was a rare acceptance to the Conservatory due to the fact Jason was a self-taught musician. Jason would eventually record and release 2 more albums while abroad for a number of years. Jason made a serious impact as a solo pianist and orchestral composer. This would later lead to his vocal rock music with heavy classical influences.

Jason SerflingJason returned to the United States to later sign a management contract with Jeff Greenberg (CEO) of the Village Studios, and begin a new transition of vocal and piano combined. This new strain of rock music would take him to uncharted places in the industry.

Jason has preformed, recorded and worked with artists/people such as Spencer Brewer, actor Brian Greenberg, Sergio Andres Bull, Judy Mann, Bonny Rait, Bill Botrell, Hale Milgrim, and Mark Serami.

Jason is currently working on his 12th solo piano album, which is due out May 25th 2016.
